I have disabled auto renew but still receive renewal notices

We are an ICANN Accredited Registrar and follow their strict protocol regarding domains and are obliged to send out notifications for  impending domain renewals. 

However, as you have disabled your domain's renewal with the Auto Renew, it will not be renewed, however, you will still receive our  notifications.
